What do I wear during Red Light Facial Therapy?

Whatever you want! (Shirt and shoes required.) We recommend something comfy.

While we do encourage you to wash your face before Red Light Therapy treatments, makeup should not interfere with the effects of the LED lights. However, if your foundation or moisturizer contains sunscreen, it will block some of the light waves thereby lessening the effectiveness of the treatment.

The warmth emitted from the Red Light Therapy machine tends to create and overall sense of calm and tranquility. In rare cases, more sensitive skin may experience temporary redness or tightness.

As often as you want! Red Light Facial Therapy is safe for every day use. It is reported that the most noticeable benefits are experienced with 3-5 treatments per week. Of course, everyone’s skin is different, and you should monitor how your skin reacts and plan your treatment frequency accordingly.
