The air pressure inside the hyperbaric chamber is raised to 2-3 times higher than normal air pressure. This increased pressure helps the lungs collect more oxygen.
The combination of increased pressure and elevated oxygen levels helps your lungs take in more oxygen. This oxygen then spreads to your blood vessels and capillaries, in turn increasing oxygen absorption in the brain, organs, and body tissue.
When there’s a greater oxygen distribution in your organs and tissues, it’s easier for your body to heal, reduce inflammation, and fight infections.
