The Lume Story
We got started in wellness through an unlikely source: professional baseball. Our owners worked as baseball agents for many years, where they saw players maintaining their health and athleticism through an array of premium wellness modalities.
At Lume, our vision is to revolutionize wellness and aesthetics. We aim to merge beauty with vitality, providing a comprehensive approach to well-being. Our commitment to personalized care ensures that everyone feels, looks, and functions their best. By making advanced wellness and aesthetic services accessible to all, we are redefining the standards of holistic health care and promoting a culture of wellness, beauty, and vitality for everyone.
We opened in November of 2019 with just a single infrared sauna, a nitrogen cryochamber, and a few IV booths. Since, we’ve been able to expand our luxury wellness center to help guests with an even wider range of aesthetic and wellness concerns.

Where to Park
Lume is in River North, Chicago, conveniently located near the corner of Orleans and Hubbard Street just across the river from downtown. Parking is rarely a problem as there are spots directly in front of our location on Hubbard.
We also offer discounted parking in the MartParc Orleans garage located on the diagonal corner from Lume. If you park in this garage, just ask the front desk for a sticker for your ticket to receive discounted parking.
When to Arrive
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to your scheduled appointment at Lume. This gives you time to find parking and fill out any necessary forms. You can also save time by filling out the guest intake form online or through our app.
You’ll even have time to start relaxing before your session by enjoying complimentary tea. Going into your treatment already relaxed can help you feel your absolute best from any of our services.
If You’re Running Late
If you know you’re going to be late, please call our office at 312-285-2004 as soon as you can. We’ll always try our best to accommodate your appointment, but if you’re more than 10 minutes late, we can’t guarantee that we can still meet with you on that day.
Our Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment at our spa in River North, Chicago, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours of advanced notice before your scheduled time. You can cancel or reschedule online, or by calling us.
We charge a 50% fee for any appointments canceled within the 24 window.

For most wellness treatments and recovery services, no consultation is required to book your first appointment. However, for results-driven aesthetic or medical wellness services—like body sculpting, EXOMIND, or advanced IV therapies—a consultation ensures we tailor your session to your goals and medical history.
Your first visit begins with a check-in at our River North location and a brief consultation with a trained wellness specialist. They will review your goals, answer questions, and recommend services or packages that suit your needs. Many guests complete intake forms online in advance to save time, then relax with a beverage before their session begins.
Lume Wellness offers memberships and package options to help you get consistent wellness benefits and save on services. With a membership, you earn monthly tech credits that can be used for services such as cryotherapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, and more. Purchasing packages often comes with savings compared to booking individual appointments.
Tech credits are monthly credits earned through certain membership tiers. Members can apply these credits toward preferred services such as saunas, cryotherapy, and other wellness modalities. This gives flexibility so you can choose what matters most to your routine each month.
